A spoopy-time story

Julia ran down the hall as fast as she still could.

"No, Julia!  We can escape!" yelled Beauregard from the front window, bathed at long last in the first rays of sunrise.

"I can finish this once and for all!" she shouted back from the bathroom.

She gripped the counter tight, braced her feet, and shouted "Baba ji, baba ji, baba ji!"

The ground shook and split.  She held on tight, the wind whipping impossibly in two directions at once.  The force passed, and a booming voice from nowhere declared "You can now marry any caste."
