Sebarial
So just curious as to what everyone out there does. I personally read every book (multiple times) and also listen to them in audio book format. I had never done audio books until Way of Kings came out and at the time I was commuting 4 hours a day for law school so I had lots of time in the car and very little time when NOT in a car. I discovered that when I listen to an audiobook and read it too the different formats help me catch things that I did not. Like sometimes they way something is paced or phrased clicks way better as important or a tidbit I missed because it makes more sense conversationally. I also caught things I read that I would not catch in audio format because of having the whole passage and noticing the word usage better. SOOO I discovered that I did my most complete digestion of the material by doing both, listening and reading. (I still spend far more time reading than listening)
Hood
That's the thing about audiobooks. They get your pronunciation better. Many times, you can even envision the whole scenery in your mind. This seems difficult for me when reading paperback. Also, Bradon's audiobooks are awesome for a reason. They are narrated by Micheal Kramer. His voice fits the novel perfectly. Many times, I try to mimic him when reading something.
