Re-reads

Hi, I know I'm new here but I would like to suggest that we do a re-read of Brandon's Cosmere books. (Like tor.com does with their Way Of Kings and Wheel of Time Re-reads.The 4th Age Wheel of Time Podcast did one too.) I would suggest we do it in the following order:

 

Elantris

Hope of Elantris

The Emperor's Soul

Mistborn

Well of Ascension

Hero of Ages

Alloy of Law

Warbreaker

Way of Kings

Words of Ascension (?)

 

I considered staggering the reading order thusly:

 

Elantris

Hope of Elantris

The Emperor's Soul

Mistborn

Warbreaker

Well of Ascension

Way of Kings

Hero of Ages

Alloy of Law

Words of Ascension

 

Just a thought. It could be fun.

The Elantris reread started out a couple of months ago on Shardcast, there's three or four episodes now. There's been kind of a hiatus right now, with all those podcasters being super busy, but it'll get going again before too terrible long. And there are other things along this line in the works. Just keep an eye out.

As has been mentioned, Shardcast will be going forward (in a similar pattern to the first you listed) as soon as we're all less busy (things have been crazy for the three of us). As for doing something like tor.com has been doing, I just barely put up a topic seeing who would be interested in a readthrough of Way of Kings in preparation for Words of Radiance. If you're interested, you should totally go post in that topic!
