EDIT: I've decided to move all the categories to plurals. I've also decided to remove some pages from categories so that the page only appears in the deepest category of any single category tree. For example, the Shardholders are currently in both Cat:Cosmere and Cat:Shardholder (which is in Cat:Cosmere), I'm gonna move them to just Cat:Shardholder. Same with the Planet pages, which are currently in Cat:Cosmere, Cat:Places, Cat:{planet-name} AND Cat:{book-name} lol.

Like I say, we need to discus the category structure.

So yes, which is it to be?

For articles I've been going singular, it makes the most sense, and is probably the way Wikipedia does it.

But for categories? I've tended towards 'this page is a <singular>' but from the category point they are 'this category contains <plural>s'. it also seems mediawiki has a problem with [tt]Category:Something_template[/tt] (see the other thread) so yeah, what should we do?

Also, I think we should keep with the [tt][[book Title (book)]][/tt] linking schema for books, but scrap it for in universe places/concepts/etc, unless there's multiple things that can go under that title (not including the book).

For example: Elantris_(book) is fine. but Elantris→Elantris_(book) is ewwie, and so is `Elantris` being a disambig. I'd rather Elantris be about the city and add an `are you sure you didnt mean the book` to the top of the page.

And another thing, we should plan how we want to organise categories, its pretty willy-nilly atm >.>

A third, catkeys (the category sort key), I've been using ` ` for pages that define the category, (like `Shardholder` for `Cat:Shardholder`) and `*` for any non-universe things (like chapter summaries, epigraphs, templates?). and then the natural sort order for any in-universe thing that goes in the category. Is that good enough?

An idea! (already implemented >.>) only books should be prepended with the word `The `. This is sensible since wikipedia discourages the use in titles, and most things dont need it. We could actually get rid of many of the ` (book)` pages, and move them back to without it. The only necessary one really is `Elantris (book)` since the city is there.

Just a suggestion lol
