JustinMSloan Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Has anyone heard about the Stanford online writing a novel certificate? Worth taking? Thank you!
Yados Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) Nope, but it sounds cool if it's cheap/free. Seeing as it's Stanford, I'm guessing not? Edited May 16, 2013 by Yados
Yados Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 free if work pays You mean that you think you'd make enough money with the book to offset the cost? Or is that an official offer? If you sell your book, they don't charge you for the classes.
JustinMSloan Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 Haha, no, that would be cool though. My work pays for school, so that's not a worry. Just debating between that and other programs. Wondering if there's a good online MFA program out there? I am doing the MA in writing at Hopkins, but want more after. Here it is: https://continuingstudies.stanford.edu/writingcertificate/intro.php
