This forum was recommended to me in a thread over at r/AskScienceFiction after I was asking some Cosmere-related questions. I've been making my way through Sanderson's books over the last few months (and discovering some new authors along the way) and I can definitely say I am excited about the fate of the Cosmere. So I look forward to talking to all of you!

I really loved Elantris. It seemed unique as fantasy goes, in not dealing with a "save the world" type plot. I appreciate how it takes a relatively smaller perspective and handles such a disturbing concept so well. And I love how, when I think back on it, I can see that the Cosmere's general magic system was present even then.

 

As for a favorite character... probably Vin. I found her relatable and interesting. She has that quality that makes you really want to root for her.

Hello! Welcome to the forums! Have you read the Stormlight Archive books yet? They're fabulous.

I'd advise checking out some of the guilds. They're pretty cool. And the Cosmere theories, though a lot of those go way over my head.

Welome! Have an upvote courtesy of myself I'm reading Elantris (just finished Stormlight books) and I am loving it. Very different from the Stormlight books but it's awesome to see Sanderson's creative diversity! Cheers!
