I thought it might be useful to gave a topic for this... Anyway, first bug: links in posts don't seem to be working. This may be down to browser or OS, can anyone else confirm?

WP8, IE

Posted

This will be a bit nontrivial for me to test since I do not have a WP8 device. However, I did load the mobile site on IE10 on the desktop, and links seem to work just fine. The way I understand WP8, IE10's rendering engine is the same on both phone and desktop. I clicked a link to Reddit in the Reddit AMA thread and it opened in a new tab like you'd expect.

Do the links not appear at all, or do they just not send you anywhere? Or, perhaps, do they open in another tab entirely?

Sorry, should have specified, mobile version of the site specifically. Turns out they do work, but are not highlighted as links, so anytime (url=link)text(/url) is used instead of a full url, I don't see it :(

I knew you meant the mobile site :) You can still view the mobile site on the desktop, which was what I did.

I'll see if I can change the coloring for the links; it seems like a coloring issue not related to IE10, so easily fixable.

It should be fixed. At least, to be consistent with the coloring of the main site. There was some bizarre skinning issue that prevented the mobile links from getting coloring.

I was on the mobile site and I was looking at Brandon's profile on this site and I clicked on find content and it came up with only the Q&A  but above that it said search limited from 29/05/12 but in longer form. I checked this with couple of the admins and same was true, then I tried it on the PC version nothing of the sort came up. Its not really an issue but I thought you might like to know and the theorist in me wells up at thought of secret sub-forums.
