Guest Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) So I just found this on Theoryland when I was looking for something else. Interview: Mar 20th, 2014 WOR Signing Report - IronCaf (Paraphrased)OutisSzeth in the prologue of book one says he can't heal from a Shardblade wound, but Kaladin can. What is the distinction there?Brandon SandersonYou should be looking to see if you can find other distinctions between what Szeth says and what happens to Kaladin, because there's three or four big inconsistencies.Tags szeth, kaladin, shardblade wounds, Healing from Shardblade is 1, Amount of Stormlight used is 2.... Do we know 3/4? Is there a previous thread about this that I missed? Edited June 13, 2015 by LabRat
DreamEternal Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Szeth needs ten heartbeats to summon his blade, and it doens't shapechange. All this things are because Kaladin's blade is a spren and Szeth's isnt.
Guest Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 That simple, huh? Guess I was reading to much into it
DreamEternal Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 That is my guess. Maybe there realy is more out there.
