A big hello from Down Under!

I'm relatively new to Brandon's books.  I discovered his writing via The Wheel of Time and have since read (and loved) Legion.  I bought the Mistborn Trilogy, but haven't read them yet (a friend borrowed them & I don't have them back yet) but they're next on my list.

Regardless of how little experience I have with his work, I have become an ENORMOUS fan of his.  His writing is just fantastic.

Looking forward to learning more about his works and getting to know other fans!

Nice to meet you Mish! You're in for a real treat with the Mistborn trilogy; the first one especially is a really tight story with lots of twists and thrills. I hope you enjoy it and that I'll see you around here! :D

I'm sure you will see me here.  Still don't have my books, I'm itching for them! Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Hi Mish,

I'm a noobie on here as well but wanted to confirm you'll love Mist born, though I'd say the last book is my favourite. The payoff at the end of the story is fantastic. Classic Mr Sanderson.

I finally got my Mistborn books back and started reading the first one 2 days ago.

I'm up to chapter 21 and excuse me, but there's no other word than SQUEAL!!!!!    I'm totally, utterly enthralled. I'm reading way too late into the night & struggle to put the first book down to get some sleep, it's absolutely FANTASTIC. Loving it!  :D

Thanks for the welcome MonkeyMagicSCG... welcome to you too! :)

Hi Brendan, thanks for the welcome :)  I finished the first book last night, and WOW, just wow! I am completely in awe of Brandon Sanderson's writing, it's incredible.

I'll be starting The Well of Ascension today & have already had a tongue in cheek lecture from my son on "making things last" and "taking time to enjoy the books".  Smarty pants.

Hehe.... you'll find LOTS of reactions from me.  I haven't been here in a while due to real life stuff, but FINALLY finished the series today and am bouncing on my seat with excitement over it.  I posted in the general Brandon discussion forum asking what to read next or where to find a book list.  Yep, serious noobie here, but beyond excited to have found such a fantastic author.
