Cheeps93
Good Morning Everyone. Or perhaps good afternoon, good evening, or goodnight? I'd like to introduce myself here because I have finally reached a point in my Sanderson readership where I feel comfortable coming here without spoiling myself on a bunch of content. Last November (latecomer I know) I was introduced to Brandon through Mistborn. I promptly read through the trilogy and loved it. Allomancy, what an idea! I then read Elantris and Warbreaker (I adore Lightsong, and Nightblood.. coolest sword of all time?). Finally, I began The Stormlight Archive and have just finished Words of Radiance this past weekend. Wow! I am so engrossed in the world of Roshar that I don't want to leave it. Alas, the dreaded wait for Book 3 is upon me. I have been relatively aware of the Cosmere and it's implications since finishing Mistborn and reading about Hoid. My fascination with him and the other connections between books has grown over time, and reached a peak after finishing the SA. So much "screentime" with Hoid (Wit) is truly a treat. I am in awe of Brandon's future plans, and so impressed with his ambition. Next up are Emperor's Soul and Alloy of Law (might be waiting for my cousin to catch up on this one). Alright! Rambling post over. Hello everyone
Unknowingly
Welcome my friend! Is Allomancy your favorite Magic system that Brandon has created? Because it is mine, as i also love the whole idea of it and how its interactions are based in real physics. Have some introductory upvotes while we are at it

It's original appeal to me was that flight could be achieved through steel-pushing (I have always been fascinated with flight, and dream about it often. For this reason I find the Windrunners fascinating as well). As the trilogy progressed and the complexity of the system grew, it was even more appealing to me. It is hard to say, between Allomancy and Surgebinding.
Unknowingly
Surge Binding is pretty great as well I'll admit, but I need it to become more fleshed out first. Knowing Brandon, it is going to be suitably complicated and incredible in the end, but right now it is still an unknown to me.
