Only one Mistborn book is translated, by the way. I've learned many interesting things For example, there is no proper word for pewter in russian, only borrowed one. In the book pewter is translated as "lead" "Lead is an alloy of tin and lead" , as stated by Kelsier. As for Eastern slang - it is translated as basic rustic dialect, only barely different from normal speech similar to how peasant would speak in many works of fantasy. Btw, Russian does not have gerunds per se.
