Just a note to the admin, there is a spambot on the loose in the General Brandon discussion.

IANAM (I Am Not A Moderator) but using the Report button on the offending spam post should be enough to alert the Steel Inquisitorsadmin that a purge is needed. No need to create a topic about it. Unless you want a discussion about spambots. In which case, carry on.

Yeah, that was a ton of spam. Glad someone cleaned it up so quickly.

That's 3 spambots I've had to report today, and each without a page worth of content. I'll make a note in the Suggestion Box, but maybe we should have something such as a limit to how many posts can be made at once. If a person can make 2 new topics within a minute, then I find it unlikely they're human.

Moving to site issues and closing; these topics do not serve any purpose. Use the report feature. It sends an email to every mod and is much faster. No, I don't know why there is an influx, no, there are not many more options I can do to turn it on, yes, it is annoying.
