WoK is the first of Brandon's books that I've read (long time Wheel of Time and other fantasy/sci-fi), so am newish to his work, but really thought that WoK was a phenomenal book and starting point for a great epic series... In looking for more info on it, ran across the board here and the concept of the overall cosmere that unites the books, and got fascinated so am now in midst of reading his other titles... If you're looking for something to go from there, I highly recommend Mistborn, as its my favorite of his novels. Plus, it has that epic feel, and you can read all three of the books right now.
