Here is the prologue for my fantasy series, the Proanadi. Hope you like it, but don't expect it to make much sense in the way of the full plot of the book. You won't figure out the story of the series by reading the prologue. That comes with actually READING the books. In a way, the prologue is kind of like the Way of Kings' prelude. Impossible to understand fully unless you read the whole thing.
