After all the fact that people didn't know there were 16 metals made it harder for them to guess what was going on with the mists and the exactly 16 percent getting sick, which delayed their ability to make use of that.

Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted December 6, 2010 Posted December 6, 2010 I'm thinking no, since these metals are supposed to be extremely rare/difficult to mine and/or process. I'd say no one knew except for Preservation, maybe Ruin, and Sazed after HoA.
Chaos he/him Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 Preservation apparently "switched" cadmium and bendalloy and replaced them with atium and malatium, for the ultimate purpose so the atium could be burned. So no, the Lord Ruler did not know about those additional temporal metals, I should think. Of course, I'm not sure why holding the power at the Well didn't give him a knowledge of that, though...
