conn Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 My virus protection keeps giving me warnings not to visit Dragonmount and the forums. Is the site safe and the caution unnecessary?

Where exactly does it happen? What virus protection do you have? Also, I suggest questions like these go in the Tech Discussion area next time
Chaos he/him Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I think you'd be fine. Dragonmount's been having some serious attacks recently which, a month or so ago, made their site unoperational. A normal DDoS attack. I believe the change is because they have a storefront where they sell ebooks, which makes it a more valuable target for, well, jerks. That said that's all about Dragonmount being up or not. I can't vouch for its security, but I'd be very surprised if there was any issues. I think your virus software is just being overzealous.
