Brandon Sanderson is one of my favourite authors (which is weird because when he took over the wheel of time I REALLY didn't like his writing style, then I read some of his own novels and I've now changed my mind completely), but I also really like Robert Jordan, Robbin Hobb and Terry Pratchett.
