gjustice99 she/her Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I feel that we need to create a term for Brandon Sanderson's plot twists as they are generally much harder to predict than a normal plot twist. I came up with this idea when I was thinking about how some members of the Percy Jackson fandom coined the term "Rickhanger" after the author (Rick Riordan) ended a book with a more intense than usual cliffhanger. If a term can be coined from one instance of an author doing something, then we can do it from many, many instances of unpredictable plot twists. 1
