Doomsday Preppers

Its on National Geographic. Something about watching crazy people prepare for the end of the world is endlessly entertaining. There was a 15 year old kind on last night who gets his stash by stealing it from his mom. He also made a 'mace ball bat' and his mom laughed at him. She threatened to take away his toys.

My favorite of all time was when a guy picked up road kill, brought it home to his kids and said 'who wants racoon?'

If I have sit down and write a book for NanoWrimo, it will be about the end of the world. The crazy people are prepared (and really excited about it) and the normal people are screwed since we didn't stockpile like the nuts.
