Glaring at the Survivor he/him Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) http://www.brandonsanderson.com/images/wok/tWoK_ENDSHEET-FRONT-1-webres.jpg Twenty symbols, each for its own shard. And yes, I know someone will say something abou goat eyes. But the shards symbols have probably changed in the however-many-years since Adonalism (or however that's spelled)was Shattered. EDIT: I would say these were symbols of the Heralds or Knights Radiant except that there's only 10 orders and 10 Heralds. Of course, if it were 10 for the Heralds and 10 for the KR then that would make sense. Edited September 30, 2012 by Chaos Double post.
Chaos he/him Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 (edited) Um, are you suggesting that there are twenty Shards of Adonalsium, or twenty types of Shardblades, or what? This image actually represents neither: it represents the ten orders of Knights Radiant and the ten Surges. You see, each order of Radiants (the bigger symbols on that picture) utilize two of the Surges (the smaller circles). So, the lines there are connecting Orders to which particular Surges--abilities--they use. A few Surges are Gravity, Pressure, and Transformation. So basically this image relates to things on Roshar, not general cosmere. All evidence suggests that there are sixteen Shards of Adonalsium. (For example: "Three of sixteen ruled, but now the Broken One reigns." This definitely refers to Shards.) EDIT: Stroniax, please do not double post. Glaring at the Survivor he/him Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 Sorry. Ok, well thanks. In an earlier post I read it sounded unconfirmed.
Glaring at the Survivor he/him Posted September 30, 2012 Author Posted September 30, 2012 I closed it a few minutes ago. And I don't remember which one it is. Sorry.
Chaos he/him Posted September 30, 2012 Posted September 30, 2012 Okay Well, if you don't mind, I'm going to close this topic, since this has been pretty well debunked by now.
