Wherein Ryan ponders the purchase of a Kindle

SO! Guys! Anyone got a Kindle?

They've finally gotten cheap enough that I wouldn't feel crazy for buying one. I think they look like a great piece of hardware. The main thing holding me back is DRM. Can anyone tell me, does the awesome of the hardware counterbalance the massive suck vortex that is DRM?

I don't have a Kindle, but I do have the Kindle for Android app. I haven't really used it all that much, but it seems to be decent. I just really prefer to have the hard copy of the books. Nothing can compare to feeling the pages in your hands.
