Whenever I find myself reading something by Brandon, I follow a little ritual.  Lighting up a cigarette, I look quite sternly at the book in hand, do my best Hugo Weaving impression and say "we meet again, Mr Sanderson."

 

So there's a fun fact about me out of the way!

 

I first encountered Brandon Sanderson through his work on the Wheel of Time.  Wanting to know more about the man chosen to finish my favourite series, I picked up The Final Empire and was hooked.  I've read most of his works now and I've just finished Words of Radiance.

 

I'm from Glasgow, Scotland, and I'm looking forward to diving into the forums!

I have much respect for your tradition. Mine generally involves alot of joyful bellows of exultation, maniacal laughter, and generally a sandwich.

Decidedly less cool, but what I lack in cool I make up for with enthusiasm.

Here's another up vote.  I enjoy sitting back and lighting up my churchwarden and reading for a few hours.  It's definitely going to be a conflict of interest between reading and school once SA #3 comes out.  My favorite quote is "I am a stick!"
