hello,

pardon my uninspired username

I have been... perhaps, lurking, on the Shard, anonymously, since the start of this year

the time felt right to meet you all. or perhaps my morality didn't like the idea of staying anonymous for much longer

this author meets standards not many others dare to meet and is thoroughly enjoyable

I would like to wish you all a pleasant evening

Welcome to the Shard! Kind of...

Where have you been lurking prior to joining?

And if you could spend a day on a cosmere planet, which one would you choose?

The Longest Thread and Sanderson Elimination look fun, although I will admit a bit intimidating. I would probably visit Elantris, Nalthis, or Komashi.

Yeah, TLT and SE are interesting and intimidating. I’ve joined the former twice, both attempts died very quickly, and I’m in my second SE game now.

And you can do what I do and lurk with an account!

Welcome to the Shard!

Not that I’ve welcomed you, what is your favorite Sanderson book, as an individual story?

you like omniscient reader's viewpoint, which caught my attention because a friend forced me to read it a few months ago and I lost interest pretty quickly

Is the friend on the shard? If so, I probably got them into it first. What made you lose interest?

Spoiler

HAHA SEE THAT MODS, THEY BROUGHT IT UP FIRST

SO IF I INDOCTRINATE THEM ITS NOT MY FAULT, IT'S THEIRS

MUAHAHAHAHA

they are not on the shard, no. the characters feel lackluster and expressionless all but the protagonist and the reader, and the story drags on, and on, and on. the world building is interesting but ultimately failed to keep my attention.

You got to there, and you really didn't see any depth to characters?

You know what, you are allowed to dislike it, I wont push any further.
