They are still most definitely using the dark side powers, they have to pretend to be obedient and do evil things like the rest but don't quite fit in with the rest. And so for that they are less favored, but are undeniably skilled. What they have been doing since: Inquisitor things, they are the least favored inquisitor and are widely considered to be the worst one, but is much better than everyone thinks. 1
