Hello, I am a humble theorist here to get irritated over lack of information, collect WoBs and make slightly believable theories to be debunked.

Hello! Welcome to the shard, mind telling us what books you've read?

Welcome to the Shard! You've arrived at the best place on the Internet, filled with the best people, the best desserts, and the best murderous (arctic, mostly) animals!

Here are a couple of tips to help you settle in to your new place as a cog in the Grand Apparatus that is the Shard:

1. Join S(anderson) E(limination).

2. Familiarize yourself with the most important forums: Community, Cosmere Q&A, and SE.

3. Tell us which books you have and haven't read (this helps us avoid spoilers)

4. HAVE FUN! Make friends!

5.

The more people you interact with, the more people it's acceptable for you to follow, and then those people will feel obliged to follow you.

And then you get rep and cool yellow words under your name.

ok, I have read stormlight throught to WaT, including dawnshard but not edgedancer or elsecaller. I have also read both eras of mistborn including secret history, as well as elantris and the emperor's soul.

Do you like Dragons? Do you like Wayne? What Twinborn combo (Compounding and Non) would you choose? Which Radiant Order's Ideals resonate the most with you and which Surges do you like the most?

ok, 1 yes, 2 yes (personally I really want a scene with him Hoid and Lift in the same room), 3, hmm, thats a hard one, I'd have to say nicrosil compounder, or a-bendalloy/f-steel. 4, I did the official quiz thing and got windrunner but would choose elsecaller. Gravitation and transformation are my favourite surges (still trying to figure out how transformation doesn't violate the laws of theormodynamics).

nicrosil compounder

either that or chromium compounding

I would assume the same way that the Time bubbles dont kill you with weird physics:

Spiritual Realm Shenanigans

Also, which planet that we havent visited in a book yet are you most interested to see in the future.

erm actually Investiture works as a 3rd state of energy, working as a 3rd variable in E=mc^2, which is the formula that states for every 1 matter you have, you can change it into the speed of light squared of energy, or for every the speed of light squared energy you have, you can change it into 1 matter, and investiture works as a 3rd component meaning that the stormlight stored within a radiant or soulcaster would be converted into the extra matter needed to change the matter into a different matter, but i presume takes up a minimal amount of investiture (because otherwise soulcasting something back would give you more stormlight) and I assume the rest of the investiture goes into opening a connection to the cognitive realm's version of that thing, allowing you to convince it it wants to be changed, requiring less investiture than brute-forcing it, which is what I presume most soulcasters (non-radiant) do, which causes their own body to get caught up in the blast

TL;DR E=mc^2 but investiture is also there & the cognitive realm

sorry for the long tangent

Just a bunch of science stuff

basically E=Mc^2 allows you to violate (ish) the law of thermodynamics
