Through The Living Star She/Her Posted May 16 Posted May 16 I want to read project hail mary- it is on the To-Be-Read list that I haven't made it to yet.

Yeah, I have quite the wait ahead of me, so for now, I am reading the Hierarchy series by James Islington and The Eyre Affair by Jasper Fforde

GG0z He/Him Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Just now, Through The Living Star said: Oh! I've never read either of those. What are they about? Okay, so the Hierarchy series is this Roman inspired(kinda) half dystopia, where there is a hierearchy of people ranging from Octavus(lowest class), to Princeps(highest class) who cede Will. Will is people’s strength, so a Septimus(one step above an Octavus) would recieve Will from Octavii. Here is an image of that if you were confused: The main character, Vis Telimus, is adopted by a stranger, who tells him to infiltrate an elite Catenan(the country where this take place) academy, where “The future of Caten,” or the children of those in power, learn about everything. The first book, called The Will of the Many, is a bit mysterious, and ends with more questions than answers, fyi
