_Longname_ he/him Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Hello! I’m Longname! I’m rather new to the Cosmere, but I’ve read Mistborn Era 1 and 2 (without 11th Metal, Secret History and Allomancer Jak (yet!)) and Stormlight Archive The Way of Kings - Edgedancer. At the moment I’m reading Oathbringer, but I want to get Arcanum Unbounded next. I like Scadrial, and would definitely be either a Kandra or a Full Feruchemist (or both, hence my tagline!) I look forward to posting some more interesting topics and ideas on the Shard, see you! 1

Do you like Dragons? What are your favorite compounding and non-compounding twinborn combos?

I think he's hilarious, but also kind of awesome, especially with his Bendalloy Transformations and how he impersonates other people. So, yeah I do like him very much. 3 hours ago, Through The Living Coder said: Do you like Dragons? In the Cosmere or in general? I haven't seen Sanderson Dragons yet, but in other books I actually love them. I think Dragons are one of the best Fantasy Creatures. 3 hours ago, Through The Living Coder said: What are your favorite compounding and non-compounding twinborn combos? Ooh, that's a really hard question. On Earth or in the Cosmere? For non-compounding I think anything with A-Bendalloy works great, because you can throw up a Bubble, quickly store the attribute while everyone else is in Slo-Mo (If you have enough Bendalloy). For compounding maybe Zinc, to make yourself too smart, maybe similar to the level of mental capacity Atium gives you. (Not because of the Rioting, that's not my type) To be honest, Copper compounding might be best, because you are immune to emotional Allomancy and can remember everything. Compounding is great, no matter what you have.

Good non-compounding choice, what feruchemical ferring ability would you choose with it? Yeah, everyone wants to have infinite brainpower. Compounding is kinda just broken, yeah.

Other than Bendalloy, a good Twinborn Allomancy side would be any Mental metal (Zinc, Brass, Copper, Bronze) or Chromium. 17 hours ago, Through The Living Coder said: Compounding is kinda just broken, yeah. Way to broken, look at Feruchemical Bendalloy, Cadmium, Gold and Bronze! You're basically Undead. Spoiler The Lord Ruler really was a god, Fullborn are basically immortal. If you could have any cosmere power you have read of, what would it be? (Ex: Windrunner, Steel push, Odium, etc.) Edited March 20 by -ACE-

Probably a Fullborn Spoiler (Mistborn + Feruchemist) , because its just OP, but I’m not sure if that’s allowed. I haven’t read that much of the Cosmere yet, so my second choice would be Kandra, because the Shapeshifting is kinda cool I just like Scadrial.

I would have a dawnshard tho, if you know what that is

Its the 2.5th book of stormlight, and its mostly about lift.

This goes with the sunlit man question. Dawnshard introduces the idea of a dawnshard to you, but sunlit man, the main guy carried a dawn shard that is still effecting him, so you learn more about what it does.

Good to know, I'll put that on my reading list. 1
