For about a year now, my LitRPG web novel has featured a character named Bivodan

He shows up in one scene at a city gate and neither he nor that location ever reappear in the story after that chapter.

Just a dude visually described only as 'what looks like some sort of autonomous lieutenant in a garrison or something' and 'looks like he likes ham'.

Inspired by my question to Sanderson that got a RAFO about Ham's friend in the Luthadel garrison named Bevidon who has a similar role in Mistborn, and his connection to Bavadin, AKA Autonomy
