Hey everyone! I feel like we need a wings of fire forum to chat about our favorite parts of the series, and anticipate book 16.

 

So I will ask you, what do you think is going to happen in book 16

We already know the protagonist is Umber, he is saved by a hybrid dragon named Mulberry and discovers a hidden community of hybrids on an island where he and Sora find refuge.

Hello! I have also read Wings of Fire. I'm terrible at predictions, though I hope we get to see Peacemaker again! I would guess there's going to be a dragon from one continent who's very xenophobic towards the other?

I love wof but it’s been forever since i read em. But regardless i still love them even if the info i have is blurry!
idrk what to expect from book 16

but im hyped

my fav characters are- quibli (i will be faught if i say otherwise) kinkajou and sunny annnnnddd STARFLIGHT MY BABBBBYYYYY. Though i love all 0f them equally, even darkstalker. But not moorowseer

I love WoF. Possibly my favorite book series, tbh.

It sounds like there's some techy kind of stuff going on, which is exciting - even if animus magic is still involved, that's somewhere the books haven't really gone yet and I'm curious to see what Tui does with it. I'm also hopeful for an Umber romance, not every book so far has had an actively started relationship but almost all of them have had at least love interests (with Sunny and Snowfall as the only exceptions in the main series so far, and iirc Tui has mentioned she has ideas for Sunny she just hasn't written yet?), so I expect there will at least be hints. 

Of the mainline three arcs, my top five favorite main POV characters are probably Glory, Moon, Qibli, Sundew, and Snowfall. It's a fairly close race for a lot of them though - there aren't any POV characters I really dislike because the writing is just so excellent, especially in the later arcs.

ok i will state an opinion here. Out of all the arcs the last one is my least favorite but mainly cause i grew up with the first two and the third kinda did its own thing. Not that it’s bad. I still like it. 

Glory is my fav rainwing other than kinkajou. No one can beat her.

I liked how the third changed the rules for how the world worked. I mean, it also introduced Cricket!

I still haven't finished the third arc. I got into Sanderson before book 15 came out and haven't gotten back yet.
