Circle Shadings

I was just lurking (as always), and I noticed one of the circles is now faded when It wasn't before (unless I'm delusional. Always a possibility) and I was just wondering what they mean.

(Circles on the left in case it was unclear)

Bright = New Posts

Faded = No New Posts
- Exception - Forumless "links" like Arcanum and Time-Waster's Guild Archive are always Bright, because there are no posts to be marked as "read" which would trigger the alternate shading.
