She pulls out her lyre and says to no one in particular "I do not mean to offend, but this song should allow me to sense these spren. It may be uncomfortable for those of you with a gift."

Sarel begins to play the song of whispers, each strum... resonating with investiture. An inhuman hiss sounds, and investiture begins to glow cyan.

You look for the flute, only to find it gone.

As you play the song, you sense an increasingly powerful investiture reading from Watcher. You black out. You will wake back up one post after this one

Longinus stops, turning to look. His eyes blink independently of each other, before turning back to his path. “So, how does this whole thing work, You?” Mercyrose asks the spren. “You got a Surge for me or what?”

It comes over to you and pulses in a pattern. You can feel the pulses convey emotion, one of longing to answer you questions, and then, as it turns to Longinus, an emotion of curiosity.

Watcher walks out of the forest, and the sphere goes up to him, pulsing rapidly. Watcher than says, "Oh, Mercyrose, let me translate for you. 'Hello!'" He begins in a voice with a rhythm. "'You can call me Pulse. I'm a worldhopper spren! I don't give surges, but teleportation!'"

"Oh! Was it a-er, a Kandra? Or a Misting, or Mistborn? Ooooo, can I hear about it?" She seemed exited again.
