@Kansas Stormcursed You arrive in a medium-sized fishing town on a caravan, and the ocean becomes visible as you approach the top of a ridge. 

@Belandrius Ohhmar You are in the same caravan as Ezra [Stormcursed], just studying some books you brought with you.

@Born of Mist You are in a dark forest, and you don't know why you are walking through a dark forest, your memory is a little fuzzy; youremember something about a long fall, but you are uninjured. 

@KaladinsSenseOfHumorSpren You are on a hill overlooking a bay, a medium-sized village is nestled along the bay, and you can see many people going about their own business. You also see a caravan arriving from the east, and you can see several boats out on the water.

Can I do some kind of geo-ecolocation to find out where I am?

Yeah. As you do so, you are given this information: though it only continues for a few miles, you should reach the coast, but you don't know the right direction to go
