Welcome to The Door-Way.

Each Door is a duplicate of one elsewhere in the multiverse, and connects directly to it. Perhaps on the other side are riches untold. Or perhaps something far more ... sinister. What will you find behind the Door you choose?

In front and behind you stretches an infinitely long hallway. Made completely of doors, one of which you stepped out of. Even the floor you are walking on is made of doors.

You cannot break the Doors in The Door-Way, but the ones they are connected to can be broken with appropriate difficulty. If this happens, the Door vanishes until its real-world counterpart is fixed. The Door-Way is managed by an old gnome of a man who just calls himself "The Master of The Door-Way" in a crackly voice. He is amusing This is a free-form roleplay, mostly involving opening various Doors and discovering what's behind them.

She ran through the door, with it vanishing behind her. She slumped on the wall across it and sighed. "Finally!" She said. "I'm, uh, wherever here is!" She looked around at the endless line of doors.

Sandy walked out of one of the doors and entered the halfway. Addressing the others in the hallway, he said, "Don't go through this one. It leads to Alpha Centauri." He went back through the door he came.

Sandy sent a sophon through the door to follow him, and then went back to his work managing the Trisolaran Fleet.

A sophon is basically a proton with an AI built in to it (it's complicated) and has got quantum entanglement with another sophon, allowing for FTL communication.
