Reginn thinks for a moment. “I could, but it’d represent a notable mana investment. Hilda’s help would make it easier.” He shakes his head. “The disturbance we would create would most likely provoke an attack, without the chance to recover afterwards. I do not believe it would be worth it compared to using an existing entrance.”

“I disagree. If we position ourselves wisely, we may be able to surprise whoever is driving this. And so, I return to my original position. A scouting party. Find the lair, and if such a thing exists, drop in on them - you will be distracted by your mana usage, but we have four people.”

It's a sewer map - there's no great logical entrance. Any secret lairs probably aren't mapped. You could probably enter the outtake pipe, and work your way back.

With an apparent agreement achieved, Regin folds up the sewer map and begins a march towards the outlet pipe. “A consensus has been reached,” he says, to no one in particular. “It is time for our first excursion.”
