Nope.

Food is eaten as long as there is some somewhere in the same Empire.

Wood doesn't work like that though.

Nothing. Newly discovered plains have a chance to have horses, but already discovered ones are just extra space.

Food cannot go off. Others can take your horse if you are not on the same tile as it.
