The actual Dragonsteel, releasing maybe in the 2040s, will be Hoid's perspective. Also, this region of the forums has full Cosmere spoilers.

Yeah, I just realised that ;-;
But its fine, I haven't read many posts yet.

^This^

You can check out the WoBs on Dragonsteel if you are interested, but it basically boils down to:

  • Dragonsteel Prime was the original Hoid origin series - planned as 5 books
    • It was scrapped and kept secret until recently because it had spoilers for things through SA5 and MB7, but is now available free as a Sanderson Curiosity
  • Liar of Partinel was Dragonsteel Version 2.0 - also Scrapped - planned as 7 books
    • Some sample chapters are available, but can be confusing
  • DragonSteel is now planned to be a Trilogy, and will be the second-to-last Cosmere series
    • Scheduled right before Mistborn Era 4 - which is also the final series for the Cosmere
    • Tress and Yumi were written, in part, as ways for Brandon to practice Hoid's Narrative Voice so he can pin down the tone he wants Dragonsteel to convey

Hope that helps
