New to Cosmere!

So, it was around 5 years ago, I ordered the Mistborn series from a facebook page. In my country, there is no official supply of the physical copy of any of Brandon Sanderson's works. Even to get the eBooks, I have to pay in USD, which I can only do with some dollar endorsed to passport. Because PayPal is still not available in my country. Yes, even in 2025! Here, I haven't made my passport yet.

So anyways, when I got the book, I realized that wasn't the original copy. It was printed from an epub file.

After getting Mistborn in hand, I actually looked up for more of Brandon Sanderson's eBooks online

, especially Elantris, to get started. Found it and read almost through the middle, then left unread due to some exam pressure. And, then corona hit, I started reading some other books and got away from the Cosmere. In the meantime, I learned a lot, read a lot, self-actualized a lot. So, recently I took a big turnaround. Decided to say no to easy access to books through those sites, despite having such hassles to get access to them even legally. Another point to mention, maybe not much important; if doing one job pays 10 USD per hour in US, it takes doing 10 hours of the same work to earn equivalent to 10 dollars in my country. 

The Mistborn series I bought is still there in my shelf, unread. At this moment I'm quite confused whether should I read them or not. But I have planned to read the free short stories, and Warbreaker available in his site. And I read author's reply on reddit, where he permits sharing the ebooks privately. Ahm, well, if you're reading this... I'm not that boring to be friends with by the way...
Pray for me, guys. I'm still equally excited about the universe as I was 5 years ago.
Lastly, hope peace gets established sooner among war-affected countries around the world, especially in Palestine. Take care.
