I flip back and forth between preferring Way of Kings and Words of Radiance. Overall I think that WoK is a better book but sometimes I'm in the mood for the payoffs and context that you don't get before WoR.

ya, I just like how kal goes crazy on zeth. the fight is so discriptive and is so fun to listen to it makes me want more and more!! I'm listning to mistborn again to wait for a new book to come out. his books are so good I cant help  myself but read and listen all day long!!!

I liked the original release of WoR best. The reissue is fine, but I think Kaladin killing Szeth was very much within his character, and had a bigger emotional impact on the story, as well as Kaladin's progress as a radiant.

But that's just me.

Unpopular opinion here, but I much prefer books where I can understand everything and make connections between other works. I much prefer the last two books.

I'm sort-of in the opposite camp.

While I really enjoy the connections to other books/places/people in the Cosmere, I dislike that SA is becoming something that makes less sense if you haven't read the other Cosmere series.
