You can play a person with a hamster they smuggled in? The premise is human experimentation, so maybe you could have been an experiment in making a "hive" mind with animals?

What the experiment on them is attempting to achieve: They wanted to invent an invisibility power, so they gave her chameleon genes that would roughly work in a similar way. She can change the color of her skin, hair, eyes, etc. to blend into environments.

Backstory: She was the daughter of a business man who worked in the same general sphere as the researchers. As part of a contract for a business deal, he accidentally signed her away to them without realizing, and so they took her. She was around 5 or 6, though, so she doesn't remember it super well.
