BenKenobi7333 He/Him/Mandalorian Posted April 22, 2025 Posted April 22, 2025 So I just got the minifigs from word of radiance and was wondering does anyone recommend any supplies to use to paint them. Such as paint companies, brushes, glue tools etc.
Mags she/they Posted April 24, 2025 Posted April 24, 2025 Hmm I don't have a lot of experience painting miniatures but . . . I know you can buy specific paints made for doing miniatures, but they might be on the more expensive end. If you're looking for something that's a bit more basic, acrylic paint could do the trick. It's cheap and good general 'craft paint' that works for a lot of uses. It dries fast and should layer in a way that works with many miniature painting techniques (dry brushing, etc.). As for brushes, I think just a quick search for fine brushes online should do. I have a pack that I got for normal paintings, but I think they were advertised for nail polish painting stuff. Just make sure you don't buy super cheap brushes, or else the hairs might fall out while working on the miniature, and that can really mess things up. That's my 5 cents, hopefully someone with more experience can pipe in with more info. I'm sure someone on YouTube has made a video about it. 1
