Armadillo Posted April 4, 2025 Posted April 4, 2025 (edited) Assume that Investiture is some kind of meter and can be collected as an item (Spheres, vials of metals, etc.) to replenish as needed, unless the character's mechanics work differently. I'll start: Kaladin Neutral B: Basic Lashing Quote Hold: freeze in place, move control stick in a direction, he flies in that direction upon release of b. Doesn’t pull him in free fall so it can be chained, but each charge depletes a full bar (and a half?). Press B at full investiture: summons shardplate, which gives him a bunch of buffs (unlimited specials, higher attacks and defenses, two extra jumps, etc). Drains Stormlight rapidly and can’t be refilled by anything except certain moves by other characters (Dalinar’s perpendicularity, for example), shardplate only disappears when meter is empty. Side B: Spear Lash Quote Tap: Kaladin lashes his spear towards the direction he’s facing. The spear flies away in that direction for a set distance before disappearing and reappearing in his hand. Hold to angle anywhere up to 90 degrees (Yes, it can go straight up). Flies away upon release. Up B: Full Lashing Quote Kaladin flicks his syl-spear up in an arc and a glob of glowing investiture flies out. It causes a small pillar of bluish light to pool wherever it lands. Any foe or large object that steps on or touches the pool or the glob gets pulled to the nearest solid surface (usually the ground) and becomes stuck in place. The pool lasts for about five seconds if nothing touches it, but the effect lasts a lot longer if something does. Things hit directly by the glob are frozen even longer. The pool also has a slight gravitational field. If someone off-stage is hit, it doesn’t activate until they touch something solid Enemies caught in the trap can still attack and interact with things, but cannot move from the spot they are stuck in. Grabbing someone who’s stuck cancels the lashing, but only if it’s Kaladin. Otherwise, it whiffs. Down B: Reverse Lashing Quote Kaladin kneels down and puts his hand to the ground. The floor beneath him starts to glow and any projectile or item close by is pulled to his side. Throws: Quote Up: carries them into the air, then rockets them downwards to the ground while Kaladin stays in the air. Leads really well into a down air or downwards gravitation. Forward: simple throw forward Back: simple back throw Down: slams them into the ground where they remain stuck, then stabs them with the spear. Final Smash: Bridge 4 Salute Quote Cinematic: Kaladin charges forward with his spear, anyone hit by it is thrown into a cinematic where they’re attacked by everyone in Bridge 4, dealing massive amounts of damage. Other: Quote skins are other members of bridge 4 has 3 jumps, 5 if he has his Shardplate (Third jump is technically lashing-assisted but does not drain Stormlight). Echo: Moash/Vyre Quote • Kaladin but with a sword. Alternate skins include both his original bridge 4 uniform and his black one.
