It was a servant assigned to him and Zera. He must have reported that Taylor was missing.

Taylor hurried in putting a hand infront of the servant. "Apologies." He looked at the king. "Your majesty. I apologize for leaving like that."

"One of my men. There was an incident in the south. Some kids going into the old mine. They got trapped and needed more help to get then out." He said this because he knew the king wouldn't care about anything taking place there. So he wouldn't know of any falses in his story.

He hums. "I've noticed alot of unrest. Especially in the poorer districts. Maybe a protest for more fair treatment?" He looked at the king.

His eyes narrowed. "Taylor, I want to trust you. You know I do."

He sighed. "But, if you're going to lose members of my house, and go disappearing on me with no notice, well..."

He looked down. He felt guilty. Honestly. "I know. I've messed up alot recently. I've made mistakes and I wish it could be different. You have to understand. I'm trying to support you, your my king and I have to be loyal. But there is more and more unrest. People are rising up. My men and I have to put more time into our work then before. It's hurting them mentally... i didn't mean to loose your girls and I'm working on getting them back. Your a kind man. But I'm afraid other people don't see you that way." He keeps his eyes downcast. Guilt written across his body language.

He took a deep breath. He was already anxious. "I am trying my best. I want you to know that. I am trying. But eventually there comes a point when my efforts aren't enough. Come to the station. I'm telling the truth. Right now this late at night there are half of the station still trying to keep this place calm. The crime rates are rising and I'm having to work myself and my men harder and harder. I'm deeply sorry." He hesitates. "I should try to be a better son-in-law and prince. I tend to prioritize my job. My sister can attest to that. I haven't seen her for more then a few minutes recently. And as much as I hate to admit it. I'm barely an adult."
