"Dare to Take the Test" reprise

I don't have a good title for the project, one option is "The Lay [as in song] of Ripheus" or "Apollyon et Ripheus?" or something, but anyway, it's an experimental novel I was posting section-by-section on Reddit here. "Page one" is as follows:

... which reads: Jason, the Sword in hand, and Ripheus, afire, before the last staircase...

The reason for calling this a "reprise" of "Dare to Take the Test" is owing to this Facebook project of mine from a little long while ago.
