A little boy named Johnny had been blind since birth. One day, at bedtime, his mother told him she had a wonderful surprise for him tomorrow. If he followed her suggestions, he would be able to see for the first time in his life. She told him to pray very hard for sight. The next morning, she asked him if he prayed, and he said he did. She said, “Johnny, when you open your eyes, you'll be able to see because your prayers have been answered.” Johnny opened his eyes but could not see. He cried: “Mother, Mother, I can't see, I can't see.” She said: “I know, dear, April Fools.”
