Between blinks of the Twilek, Fennir has vanished. If you where to really look hard, you might notice the light seems to act funny in the corner of the shop.

gonna work on getting Kaos in the middle o’ it all.

Kaos sighed. It had been a while since he had seen anyone.

They were scared of her, he thought.

He… he couldn’t stay here. Maybe if he moved, he’d leave her behind. But he always felt more angry when she wasn’t around.

It was a small price to pay, he guessed, for peace.

Putting his cloak on, he sneaked away while she wasn’t looking, plodding through the forest towards where he guessed the nearest town was.

Finding one, eventually, he saw a starship land. It was large. It would fit his needs.

He snuck towards it, finding a mechanic working on it. The mechanic stood back, wiping their brow and heaving a sigh.

Kaos slunk forwards, attempting to open and enter the door on the side. He was successful, it was easier than he thought it would be. The mechanic saw him, seemed about to say something, then stopped, putting a hand to their throat. Whirling, Kaos saw his mother. She had followed him.

Closing the door on her and running further into the starship, he found a storage hatch and climbed in, hyperventilating.
