Vandurai stands at the ship's rail and watches the ship approach the dock.

She turned towards him took a few steps so she was like a foot away from him and started writing. Fully making eye contact not looking down

The ship had approached the dock and let down the gangplank.

Vandurai rushed down it happy to be on something not constantly rocking again.

They left the dock and found themselves on the gently sloping main street. They were all looking around at the finely crafted city. Talinel was undoubtedly writing frantically on her notepad.

They had made it about 20 feet when a bunch of guards surrounded Vanurai in a half circle. All of the men were wearing the uniform of the Alad Imperial Guard, they were holding the new rifles, all aimed at her.

The guard at their head shouts loudly. "Princess Vandurai Topaz, by order of High King Edontal, you are under arrest!"

how do you feel about her having like some form of powers becuase she’s from a different world.

Vandurai gasps recognizing the expression, one her father is good at making. "Breath above." She curses. "I don't recall any of those things." She says remaining [Outwardly] calm. 

"Ohh." The guard says raising an eyebrow. "That private library when you were 9? Or that time at the bakery here 12 months ago or when you bribed the-" "Ok I get the point, but those were-" She cut off and sighed. "But I'm a royal! One of the five gem houses no less! You can't just arrest me!" "oh but we are, we are indeed." The guard says with a sly smile.
