Carnee leads them to a bakery.

"Kalie," Carnee says peeking in the door before gesturing inside. "I need some Isones, for three."

After a few minutes, he hands her some spheres and takes the Isones. Bite-sized jam filled pastries, that are very tasty.

A voice comes from inside, demanding payment. "What are these?" says the person at the counter. "They look like little... gemstones in marbles? Whatever they are, they aren't coins. We only take coins here in the Rose Empire."

He swaps the spheres with coins.
