Okay so with the reforging of the oath pack we see that Kaladin replaces Jezrien in the heralds line up, but what happened to his honor blade? Does Moash still have it? It says that Retribution pulled all of Honors investiture back into himself, save for any protected by the new Oathpack. So really this depends on a few things, if the old blade is protected by the new oath pack then Moash still has it. the other option is that because Moash was already working for Odium, retribution lets him keep it. Now I think Moash will still be prevalent or at least present in the future of the stormlight archives/cosmear so I imagine he’ll keep some form of his honor blade but I think it will be more like a Retribution blade then the original honor blade. What do yall think?

We are told (by Ishar, not a super reliable witness) that Jezrien's Honorblade has been "corrupted" by Odium.  Not clear what exactly that means, but I agree with you that as far as we know, Vyre (formerly Moash) has it, and likely still will in future SA novels.

Side note:  it's "Oathpact", not "pack".

So, who kills Moash? I found incredibly arrogant of Moash to say he could still best The Lopen, when the last time they fought, THE Lopen had one arm. Does it make the most sense to have Bridge 4 kill him or Kaladin, or Jezrien's daughter? Adolin would also be a great choice. Or better yet Gavinor, now that... that I would LOVE. Gavinor is the King of Alethkar, Retribution must keep his promise to him. If Moash doesn't go off world, it is hard to think that Gavinor won't kill him. Especially after real training. Best fighters from the first 5 books (not including Heralds), Kaladin > Szeth > Blackthorn > Adolin > Dalinar > Gavilar > Fused > Moash > Scar > Teft > Bridge 4.

That heavily depends on your definition of "fighter" - but regardless of how it is defined, I doubt Moash rates that highly. Maybe at the end of WoR, but all of Bridge four has now had years more training with kaladin while Moash was too busy pretending to not feel sorry for himself.

Would Adolin or Dalinar have a heron-marked blade if they were in Randland?

Brandon Sanderson

Adolin would, Dalinar would not. Dalinar is not a duelist, Dalinar is a destroyer. Dalinar is someone you let loose on a battlefield and couldn’t -- he does not care if he has a heron-marked blade, if he’s considered a swordmaster. He will use any weapon he can get his hands on, and is proficient in a lot of them. What he is most proficient at is striking terror into your heart and laying waste (this is young Dalinar) to everything in his path. Dalinar is a general and a warlord, not a swordsman.

Footnote: “Randland” refers to the Wheel of Time universe in this context, where swordmasters are given marked with a heron.

You are absolutely right. If we were talking about impact on the Battle Field, Jasinah and Shallan would certainly be up there. I am speaking mostly of those best equipped for and most likely to duel Moash and end his miserable life. I did the power scaling thing as an old habit of a DBZ fan. Moash tends to be really good at cheating. When was the last time he was in a straight up fight? Against Teft, that was never a fair fight. In fact, beginning with Words of Radiance, Moash never fights fairly. I really think Elohkar might have been able to win against him. Plate and blade vs Shard spear. Hadn't ever thought about this before.

He had to use the supression fabrial just to have a chance against Sigzil and Leyten, and neither of them were top Bridge Four fighters. I think Moash loses to most Radiants in a straight fight and I doubt he would be nearly as good against Shardbearers (such as Unoathed) as Szeth was - because Szeth was not only a lifetime-trained warrior, but specifically trained in the surges much longer than Moash (who had no training in surges because he left before becoming a squire - he's barely self-trained from having Lashings used on him for training during WoR).

I didn’t get the sense that Moash needed the suppression fabrial to give himself a chance. He used it because he’s not interested in giving either of them a fair fight. He came to kill people and damage morale, not to prove how good he is at fighting.

As far as I can remember, Moash was always described as having the most raw fighting talent of Bridge Four (other than Kaladin).
