Okay, I'm actually gonna make one of these, for fun. I created a whole universe (somewhat inspired by the cosmere) there are 7 planets and at least 28 moons, some of which are habitable. There's also God, she has two sons who are twins. The sons are Creation and Destruction, and all magic within the system is based upon creation or destruction (Or both in special cases). Also God has a master plan because she can somewhat see into the future so she plays an active role from time to time. Anyway, here are some of my WIP ideas (and excerpts from the ones that have been written)

Current idea I'm working on:
A Princess (Gus) find a kidnapper (who was trying to go after her sister but got the wrong princess) and kidnaps said kidnapper. Oh and her father (the king) is like horrible and God decided to 'curse' him with five daughters because she didn't want to give him an heir.

If anyone is curious, Gus is short for Augustine. She thinks Augustine sounds crusty.

Here's a brief excerpt. This is from the beginning ish (like 2 chapters that are half written in) and is NOT edited by any means.

Spoiler

Thump.

Gus looked in horror to see a masked woman she presumed to be unconscious lying on her balcony. What was she supposed to do? Alert the guards? Where were the guards in the first place? Perhaps I should solve this on my own, Gus thought. Maybe they’ll actually take me seriously, for once.  Reaching her foot forward, she gingerly tapped the body with her shoe, making sure it was actually unconscious. With that out of the way, Gus began to drag the woman into her room.

Unwritten idea:
An eight year old (named Luks) who is a part of a group of kids training to be elite soldiers ends up on a suicide mission because the commanding officer of his unit died and no one knew what to do with these kids so they sent them to a war torn planet (it's actually a moon but whatever. Also there is hardly any human life, just a bunch of sentient robots which the kids are supposed to fight.). Anyway, the dead commanding officer's kid, who is four years old by the way, sneaks onto the ship and ends up with this unit of eight and nine year old soldiers in training. The four year old, Viktor, gets found by a robot and Luks goes off to find him. In the end Luks and Viktor end up getting 'adopted' by the robot couple that found Viktor and Luks convinces most of his unit to defect because he knows they were sent to die so they might as well try to make a life for themselves.

The idea that sparked this whole universe:
A rebel (named Cal) goes on a mission to kill the crown prince. Except he fails. Cal, with a group of his friends who are also a part of the rebellion, return on a mission to befriend the prince to gather intel. They decide that Cal should pose as Audax Falton and his friend should pose as Helvius Falton, the son of the (conveniently dead) Aulus Falton, the head of house Falton. Anyway, Cal befriends the prince (nicknamed Axis. Fun fact: Axis is Gus' dad) and Axis ends up falling in love with him and Cal goes along with it because his mission was to get as much information from the prince as possible... Anyway things go wrong and Axis turns evil after the events prior.

Here's the prologue which takes place at the very end of the book chronology wise (I haven't decided how I feel about starting at the end but I feel like this does a good job drawing the reader in)

Just a heads up, I will be referring to the kings as their nicknames, Axis and Allis, as I really like the name and I trust you all but I'd hate for someone to steal it

King [Axis] Stowe VII of Contillius sat alone in his throne room, cradling his father’s skull. Sunlight shone through a jagged hole in the vaulted ceiling, putting a spotlight on the boy. His tears gently fell on the stone floor, giving the effect of a drizzle of rain upon the gray marble.
He shook his head aggressively, long blond hair falling into his eyes. [Axis] dragged his arm across his face, pushing away the hair and tears. He refused to be seen like this. He had no time to mourn; he had to get these rebels out of his palace and had a country to run.
Who do they think they are? he wondered. Going in, killing the king, then acting like they run the place? I am the damn king.

He sighed, dusting his pants off as he walked over to put his father, [Allis] Stowe VI’s skull into a drawer built in the back of the throne. He studied the key he always wore around his neck before locking the skull away unceremoniously.
[Axis] sat down on the throne, shivering from the feeling of cold stone beneath him. He toyed with the crown on his head, not yet used to the weight of it. It felt wrong. He forced himself to stop fidgeting, to just sit still and think. How was he to regain power? Most of the noble houses, including four out of the five major houses, were aligned with his rule. Quinntius, the only major house not on his side, would have been if that bastard Florian had not convinced them otherwise.

“Liam?” [Axis] shouted, his voice echoing throughout the cavernous room.
“Yes, Your Royal Highness?” Liam responded quietly, his voice strained. He limped into [Axis]’ view, dragging his left leg behind him and leaving a trail of blood.
“It is actually your–” [Axis] began before stopping after seeing the state of his loyal advisor.
“Before you ask, I am okay. I did get shot, but besides leg functionality, I am perfectly healthy.”
“You should see a doctor,” [Axis] said, turning away from the man. He was not a fan of blood. He considered making Liam wipe up the blood he was tracking, but that would be rude. A servant could do it later.
“What do you require of me?” Liam asked, glancing down to watch helplessly as the blood dripped from his leg. He glanced around, trying to find something to push against the wound, to no avail. [Axis] knew if he looked, he could find something with minimal effort, but could not bring himself to care enough.
“I sincerely apologize about the blood.” Liam added hastily, as if he suddenly remembered [Axis]’ squeamishness.
“It is okay. Is the drafting room unoccupied? I have some questions regarding our numbers.”
“Your Majesty, The Imperator has occupied that part of the palace—”
“Then we kill her,” [Axis] said quietly. “And why have we not done that yet?”
Liam gestured at his leg. “I’m sorry. We tried—I tried, but she’s good.”

[Axis] sighed again, considering his options. Negotiation was still on the table, but he was certain she would only accept the terms of his death and prompt skull-crushing. He could try to kill her himself, but he had never been good with guns. [Axis] was more a scholar than anything but could adapt when necessary. He could not kill her with words as much as he wanted to.

“I am going in,” he said.
“What?” Liam stared at the boy king, disapproval flickering in his eyes that [Axis] was all too familiar with. “You are going to get yourself killed.”
[Axis] merely shrugged. “If the Stowe reign ends with me, then so be it.”
“Your Majesty, that is incredibly impulsive. Who’s going to get this country back into shape and cull the Edgians?” Liam’s calm demeanor was faltering, as if he knew what [Axis] was going to say.
       “You."
“I—I’m flattered, but I don’t believe I would make for a good king—”
“Please stop arguing with me. I have made my decision, and I would appreciate it if you respect it,” the King said curtly, marching down the hallway to the drafting room. He flung the door open to find Imperator Kitscher sitting next to her wife, General Kitscher. Generals Ashyn and Bagel were there as well, and a skull sat in front of another seat. [Axis] suspected that it belonged to Major Lys, whom the Imperator had murdered.

The Imperator stood up and grabbed the gun holstered at her waist. “What do you want?” she snarled.
[Axis] put his hands up. “I’m not going to hurt you,” he said slowly. Not yet. That would come later.
“So, what do you want?” she spat.
Axis questioned what he wanted. He had no plan going in; Liam was right, though he would never admit it. He just wanted his father back, but that wasn’t an option—
Imperator Kitscher strode forward and pressed her gun to his head.
“What do you want? Are you feeble-minded? Can you not respond or something?” She asked, shaking him.
[Axis] carefully considered his words. He let her see some of his fear, although it was for reasons different to what she thought. “Can we negotiate?” The King finally asked.
        “No. Anything else?”
        “Can we talk in private?”
She laughed, “So you can try to kill me? Nice try. But sure, I’ll give you the dignity of not screaming in front of everyone.”

[Axis] contemplated laughing, everything was going according to his plan. Yet still, he thought that was easy. Too easy. What was she planning?

The King and Imperator walked into a spare room, furnished with nothing but a cobwebbed painting of Contillius’ first king. [Axis] vaguely remembered it used as a spare bedroom for visiting military officers, though now it was a shell of its former beauty.

“So, how do you want me to kill you?” Kitscher asked. “Be grateful that I’m giving you options—”

[Axis] promptly strangled her, cutting her off mid-sentence. The Imperator swiftly shoved the Boy King’s hands off of her neck, knocking him down to the ground. His head hit the hard stone with a thunk, and he groaned. He pushed himself off of the stone floor before being knocked down again by Kitscher’s boot.

“You idiot. What did you think that was going to accomplish?”

[Axis] was silent. He had a backup plan, something not even a gun could defend against.
He waved his arm and severed her head off of her body. With another wave, he degloved her head, picking up her skull. He knew her blood had sprayed out, getting on him, but he didn’t care. Not anymore.

The Boy King walked back into the drafting room, covered in blood and holding her skull.

“Who’s next?” He asked, slamming it on the table.

I apologize if the formatting is horrible, pasting from google docs saves nothing unfortunately. This is somewhat edited, a slightly less rough draft.

Again, I’d be glad to be a sounding board should you ever need one :D

I have decided that one my characters (Axis' brother, Silva)'s power is to be in [your] walls. Literally. A gift from Noctir to the Contillian royal family (specifically to the second heir, however, even if he abdicates, he maintains the power for life, unlike Lunyx's gift to the King/Queen), Silva can create pockets of shadow to hide himself in. He is undetectable, however he can see and hear things if he wishes. The space inside of his shadow pockets are synched. If someone else had the same power (cough cough Gus eventually) the shadow space can be used as a portal. This does not work with one person alone as one person can only have one doorway open at once. Any non-living thing can enter, however only specific living things can enter.
