I know the oaths are about seeking truth, and stuff like that, but we really havn't found any seeking of truth, objective facts, from either of our kinds of Truthwatcher. The enlightened ones might have a focus on "emotional truths" but the normal ones, they seem more focused on healing and helping.

Am I missing something here? What are they about, and what is meant by that. I worry that some of the descriptions and and public portrayals of the orders were made by Brandons team, and not by him himself, perhaps making some break in understanding. Why do they act the way they do so far?

I always interpreted it as a necessary thing. During times of war, truth seekers aren't quite as important as healers. I would assume many are working as scholars which we also see rarely.

So basically, there acting the way they are because the situation calls for it?
